2016 Annual Convention
The 2016 HNBA Annual Convention features: a Corporate Board Training; the General Counsel Roundtable; Latina Leadership Academy by the HNBA Latina Commission, the only national entity focused exclusively on removing barriers to the advancement of Latina lawyers in the legal profession; the nation’s largest Career Fair for Hispanic law students and legal professionals; and the Youth Symposium, designed to expose high school students to legal careers. The Convention provides a myriad of educational sessions for legal professionals at all levels of experience and in every practice area. These opportunities will help our members develop the knowledge, skills, and ideas to move forward in their professional development and engage effectively with colleagues from around the country.

2016 HNBA/NACD Corporate Board Training
In partnership with the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), the HNBA will offer a Corporate Board Training Program during the 2016 HNBA Annual Convention in Chicago, IL. This one day, high-level training will focus on the complex oversight challenges that boards face, including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, financial competency, executive compensation, communication strategies and the demand for greater transparency.
