This year’s theme is “Unidos en Washington: Our Struggle, Our Progress,” celebrates an important milestone in the nation’s history – the 50thanniversary of the Civil Right Act of 1964. During this historic convention, the HNBA will reflect on our achievements as a bar association and as a nation and we will chart new directions to help us meet the challenges ahead.

In 2014, against the backdrop of the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have A Dream” speech, the HNBA is proud of our Association’s more than four decades of accomplishments; yet we remain mindful that our mission is as vital today as it was the day of the HNBA founding in 1972.

The HNBA is proud to host its 39th Annual Convention in collaboration with its Affiliate the Hispanic Bar Association of DC (HBA-DC).
