It will build relationships between the firms and the legal departments, and build the “pitch skills” of the attorney. We will solicit volunteers to serve as pod “coaches” and participants via email. Once registration is complete we will match the “coaches” and participants in pods of three-four teams.
4th Annual Speed Networking and Corporate Connection Program
Friday, March 20, 2:45-4:45 pm
The Speed Networking and Corporate Connections Program is one of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s signature professional and business development initiatives. In accordance with our mission, to enrich and diversify the legal profession, the Program is designed to promote meaningful business relationships between America’s leading corporate law departments and HNBA attorney members.
This focused and intimate networking opportunity allows in-house counsel and government agencies with hiring authority to identify outside counsel in practice areas where the legal department has an identified need. Additionally, law departments use the Program as a recruiting tool for internal placement opportunities.
The first hour consists of one-on-one meetings (20 minutes each) between legal departments and their selected participants. The second hour consists of a networking reception that is open to all Program participants. Applicants who are not selected for an interview slot are invited and encouraged to participate in the networking reception.
