2020 Corporate Counsel Conference & Moot Court Competition

Over the past months, the HNBA Board of Governors and the HNBA VIA Fund Board of Directors have been monitoring the progression of the global COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on in-person programs and events. Personal connections and support are integral to who we are and what we do. But these are unprecedented times and our top priority has always been, and will continue to be, the health, safety and security of our HNBA Familia.It was our hope to see you during the combined 2020 Corporate Counsel Conference & Annual Convention (CCC-AC), which was scheduled to take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota, September 9-12, 2020. However, uncertainty related to the containment of the virus, along with continuing travel restrictions, social distancing guidelines and limits on large gatherings, made it clear that it would not be possible to get together this year.

Last week, the HNBA and VIA Boards unanimously voted to hold the combined CCC-AC2020 virtually, offering cutting-edge legal content through Continuing Legal Education (CLE) sessions, plenaries, and specialty programs, along with an exhibitor showcase and unique networking opportunities designed to foster connection and collaboration. It will be a different format, but as usual, our high-quality programming will provide a robust learning experience for legal professionals at all levels.  More importantly, even though we will be apart, the virtual platform will give us the opportunity to stay connected and to support each other as we have always done.
