Dear HNBA Familia,
Over the last month, the HNBA Board of Governors and the HNBA VIA Fund Board of Directors have been monitoring the surge of the Delta coronavirus variant and its impact on in-person programs and events. We were excited and eager to get back to having face-to-face personal connections but the health, safety and security of our HNBA Familia remains our top priority.
Given this, the HNBA and VIA Boards unanimously voted to have our Gala en la Sala virtually. The virtual gala will be on Wednesday, September 29, 6:00–8:00 pm EST.
Thank you for your understanding and support during these challenging times. It is through our strong, vibrant HNBA/VIA Familia that we continue our critical work and mission: #OurVoiceOurImpact. While we will certainly miss seeing you in person, we cannot wait to connect at the AC2021 Gala en la Sala, where we will celebrate the achievements and contributions of the National Awards recipients and the HNBA President’s Award.
