HNBA/VIA CCC2022 FAQ
To better assist our attendees, the HNBA/VIA has developed a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding CCC2022.
HNBA/VIA COVID-19 PARTICIPATION POLICY & WAIVER
To support the safety and comfort of our attendees, HNBA/VIA requires all in-person CCC2022 participants to be fully vaccinated and boosted against the COVID-19 virus. The CDC currently considers a person to be “fully vaccinated” two weeks after receiving a second shot of a two-dose COVID vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna), or two weeks after the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. In addition, the CDC recommends booster shots at 5 months after the completion of the primary series (2 doses) of Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines, or 2 months after completion of a single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Consistent with the CDC’s guidance, the HNBA/VIA will require that all in-person CCC2022 participants be fully vaccinated and have a booster shot.
CLEAR Health Pass
CLEAR Health Pass is a health screening platform that will be used to confirm attendees’ proof of vaccination and booster. With just a few steps, you can verify your identity and share health insights for frictionless entry to the CCC2022.
The HNBA/VIA CCC2022 EVENT Code is EFATTENDEE83. Attendees must download the CLEAR app on their phone, enroll, and upload proof of vacation before arriving at the CCC2022 and as a pre-condition to onsite check-in/registration. There is no cost to registrants for enrolling in CLEAR Health Pass. CCC2022 attendees will be required to show their CLEAR Health Pass upon arrival to receive CCC registration credentials and entry to CCC2022 events. In addition, CCC2022 attendees are required to follow our COVID-19 Safety and Prevention Efforts, including personal sanitization and mandatory face coverings indoors.
CCC2022 Virtual Platform
As an accommodation for those attendees who are unable to provide the proof of vaccination required by this policy, or for those attendees who will not be traveling to New Orleans, the HNBA/VIA is providing a virtual registration option, which includes viewing the CCC2022 CLE sessions, plenaries, and Gala program.
Vaccination Required For Local Bars and Restaurants
The City of New Orleans is currently under an indoor mask mandate and requires proof of vaccination to enter bars, restaurants, and certain public venues.
