2026-2027 HNBA BOARD OF GOVERNORS ELECTION RESULTS
Congratulations to HNBA's newly elected 2026–2027 Board of Governors. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's election and to every candidate who ran for office.
Officers elected below will serve during the 2026–2027 Association year. Regional Governors will serve from 2026–2028.
Newly elected officers and governors will be sworn in during the HNBA/VIA 2026 Annual Convention Gala on Friday, September 11, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.

Key Dates:
- May 15: HNBA issues the Call for Nominations, along with the Self-Nomination Form and Questionnaire.
- June 12: Deadline for candidates to submit their Self-Nomination Forms and Questionnaires to the Nominations Committee.
- June 30: Deadline for Regular members to pay dues and be in good standing to be eligible to vote.
- July 6: Ballots for all positions (except President-Elect) electronically issued to members in good standing and voting period opens.
- July 31: Voting concludes for Officer and Regional Governor positions.
- August 9 Deadline to announce elections results to candidates.
- August 15: Publication of the 2026-2027 HNBA Board of Governors election results, if no challenges have been received.
- August 21: Last possible date to publish the 2026-2027 HNBA Board of Governors election results after all challenges have been resolved.
