HNBA Repository and Historian

The HNBA honors and values the preservation of the past. In 2023, the HNBA partnered with the University of Denver (DU) and DU Libraries, where the HNBA Collection is organized and maintained by DU’s Special Collections and Archives.  The HNBA Collection includes organizational records and papers of past HNBA presidents, in addition to more than 50 years of work by the HNBA, the National Office, the HNBA Board of Governors, the Divisions, Sections, Committees, the Latina Commission, volunteers, special task forces and so many others.

The HNBA Historian and HNBA Past President, Dolores Atencio, leads the efforts and advances the HNBA’s goals to preserve and gather historical data from various sources, including past leaders, archives, notes, minutes, documents, and artifacts.  For more information, please contact Dolores Atencio at datencio@law.du.edu.
