HNBA Partners with Lawyers for Civil Rights to Provide Immigration Assistance in Response to Executive Orders

HNBA Partners with Lawyers for Civil Rights to Provide Immigration Assistance in Response to Executive Orders

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: January 22, 2025

Washington, DC - The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) is pleased to announce a partnership with Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR) aimed at providing assistance in response to Executive Orders on immigration. This collaboration seeks to offer essential legal support and guidance to individuals and families affected by the changes in immigration policy.

"We are dedicated to supporting immigrant communities and providing clarity in response to the recent announcements regarding executive orders on immigration," said Christina G. Sarchio, President at HNBA. " We recognize that members of our community may turn to us for assistance during these uncertain times. This partnership provides a valuable resource for our members, enabling them to direct questions and concerns to Lawyers for Civil Rights, who are well-equipped to provide the necessary support."

Iván Espinoza-Madrigal, Executive Director of Lawyers for Civil Rights, added, "This collaboration with the HNBA is crucial in addressing the immediate needs of immigrant populations. Together, we can provide the necessary legal support and information to help individuals understand their rights and options."
