Divisions, Sections & Committees

HNBA Sports, Media and Entertainment Law Section

    We’re excited to announce the new Sports, Media and Entertainment Law Section! This Section provides a platform for Latino attorneys, law students and legal professionals to collaborate, share knowledge, and advocate for equitable policies within these industries. Through meetings, educational panels, networking events, CLEs and mentorship opportunities, the Section will help cultivate the next generation of Latino leaders in sports, media and entertainment, ensuring that Latinos have a prominent voice in shaping policy and business practices within this space at the local, national and international level. Five committees comprise the Section: the Sports Committee, the Film, Television and Media Committee, the Music Law Committee, the Advertising and Branding Committee and the Video Games and Interactive Media Committee. The Section will be hosting its first meeting during the Division and Sections meeting at the Annual Conference in September and are welcoming all HNBA members to learn more about the Section and meet its Co-Chairs.
