Donations and sponsorships drive HNBA/VIA’s ability to provide training/development, mentoring, networking opportunities, scholarships, advocacy, and assistance to students and legal professionals.

We accept donations via credit card and ACH electronic bank payments. HNBA VIA Fund is a 501c3 charitable organization and your contribution is tax-deductible as allowed by law. Contributions to the HNBA Member Based Organization are not tax deductible, and support the advocacy efforts and administration costs. Our different scholarship programs support underserved law students, and the Fernando J. Rivero Public Sector Fund supports public sector attorneys who serve on the HNBA/VIA Boards or in another significant leadership capacity . Founded in 2008, the HNBA LGBT Division actively promotes its members through mentorship, regional programming, and a day-long summit at HNBA/VIA conferences. It also provides scholarships to LGBTQ+ law students and young attorneys. The Division is committed to the success of its members to achieve their full potential and is working toward more representation in the legal profession. We welcome all to join us in these critical efforts by helping us fund our initiatives and providing much-needed mentorship and scholarship assistance to students and young attorneys to harness their talent and promote their careers for advancing the Hispanic LGBTQ+ community.

The Latina Commission serves the community and the legal profession by addressing barriers to the professional development and advancement of Latina lawyers.
